Two ASBPE regional Gold awards

ASBPE.gif
Two articles that I edited for PC World won gold awards in the ASBPE western regional editorial categories this year: Your Ideal PC won a gold award in the how-to category, while The Trouble-Free PC won a gold in the technical article category. For reasons that are beyond my control, the award doesn't list my name for the Ideal PC one, which is a pity: it's probably the single article that I am most proud of out of all the ones I did at PC World.

Anyway, hurrah for me!

The print version of the article about small form factor PCs I contributed to is now online. Dan Sommer write much of the text, boiling down the previously mentioned individual product reviews. LINK

Desktop PC reviews

I reviewed several new Desktop PCs this month, including systems from Polywell, Velocity Micro, iBuyPower, Amax, HP and MicroExpress.

Headphones reviewed

I reviewed a large number of headphones for the Digital World section of the July issue of PC World that are designed as replacements for the crappy ones that come with your MP3 player. LINK
